This product is shipped UN-ASSEMBLED (5 pieces). Assembly of this item is very easy and can be done with only a rubber mallet and some wood glue.

• 1/2" bottom recess works with Blum under mounted drawer slides (notching and some modification required)

Assembly Notes:
These drawer boxes are a contractor grade cabinet drawer box. Please be aware that when the box is fully assembled, the joints will be very tight in order to create a seamless box. Since the joints are so snug, you may need to use a rubber mallet or a light hammer to tap the pieces together. If you are not comfortable assembling the drawer box yourself, feel free to select the "assembly" option from the drop down menu above. Barker Door can always assemble and sand the drawer box for you at a minimal charge.

Drawer Box Glue Application:
It is recommended to add a small drop of wood glue to each dovetail just before assembling the drawer boxes. Remember that when assembling drawer boxes, less glue is better than too much glue. Any wood glue will work for assembly but we recommend Titebond (available at your local Home improvement store).

The solid cherry drawer box is a very beautiful drawer box. If you order your doors in cherry you may want to consider ordering the drawer boxes in cherry as well. Then you can stain the drawer boxes the same color as the doors and create a truly custom look.
