Dovetail drawer box- 5/8" thick solid sapele

Drawer Box Only (no drawer guides)

This product is shipped UN-ASSEMBLED (5 pieces). Assembly of this item is very easy and can be done with only a rubber mallet and some wood glue.
  • Incredibly durable 5/8" thick solid wood
  • Super Strong 1/4" thick bottom sapele veneered bottom (mdf core)
  • Super strong dovetail joint construction
  • THIS PRODUCT IS SHIPPED "NOT ASSEMBLED"
  • Unfinished (no paint or stain will be applied)
  • 1/2" bottom recess works with Blum under mounted drawer slides (notching and some modification required)
Assembly Notes:
These drawer boxes are a contractor grade cabinet drawer box. Please be aware that when the box is fully assembled, the joints will be very tight in order to create a seamless box. Since the joints are so snug, you may need to use a rubber mallet or a light hammer to tap the pieces together. If you are not comfortable assembling the drawer box yourself, feel free to select the "assembly" option from the drop down menu above. Barker Door can always assemble and sand the drawer box for you at a minimal charge.

Drawer Box Glue Application:
It is recommended to add a small drop of wood glue to each dovetail just before assembling the drawer boxes. Remember that when assembling drawer boxes, less glue is better than too much glue. Any wood glue will work for assembly but we recommend Titebond (available at your local Home improvement store).

I needed good custom drawers for a piece of furniture I sm making. The drawers came out perfectly out of the wood that I needed to maintain consistency of wood in my project.  Although it took a while due to covid and the fires,  when I received them,  they were exactly what I expected,  thanks!!!!!

Well done - timely,  accurate dimensions, and fine finish and craftsmanship.  I priced another local shop and Barker was better by 15% for the same order.
