SHIPPING
Small Orders Smaller orders under
$3500 typically ship via FedEx Ground. These orders ship as soon as each
component is completed. This means you may receive a few shipments;
millwork in one shipment, drawer boxes in the next, and cabinet
doors with hardware in another. We record which portion of the order ships in the
order notes. Your order notes can be viewed by logging into your
account.
 Large Orders Large freight orders over
$3500 typically ship complete, in single, or multiple pallets. *We may
ship the long millwork pieces (crown molding, base molding, toe skins,
etc) via FedEx ground separately from the bulk of the order as they may
be too long to fit into the freight pallet. Stragglers parts may be held
back from shipping in rare instances when parts do not pass quality
control. These parts will ship via Fedex Ground when they are completed
and have passed our quality control standards.Pallets will be encased in
a crate for protection during delivery. The freight carrier will
be instructed to call and schedule an appointment for dropping off the
order at a convenient time for the customer. When large freight orders
are delivered to residential addresses, a lift gate service may be
required in order to unload the pallet from the delivery truck. The
freight and lift gate charges are included in the shipping charge quoted
by the website at checkout. The shipment will be taken off the truck
and left on a driveway within 10 ft of the liftgate. Once the shipment
is delivered, it is the responsibility of the customer to protect the
cabinets from weather and exposure that may damage the contents (heat,
cold, water, blunt force, etc).
Most orders over $3500 will be
shipped via freight on single or multiple pallets. Pallets will be

Disclaimer:
*Empty pallets and packaging materials such as plywood, cardboard,
and foam are to be discarded by the customer at the customer's expense.
*In some cases additional charges may apply due to an inaccessible
delivery address, island/rural deliveries (where there is no road to the
delivery address), rural, multi-level apartment/condo buildings,
deliveries to the city of New York, and various other obstacles. The
customer will be responsible for coordinating and paying for additional
services required to deliver the order.

Damage to Freight In
the event of a damaged pallet, DO NOT REFUSE THE FREIGHT. This may
cause unexpected delays in the completion of your project. All damage is
covered under warranty. Any parts that are damaged and therefore cannot
be used toward the project will be replaced in a timely manner by
Barker. Please email customer service to start a claim.
*In some
cases additional charges may apply due to an inaccessible delivery
address, rural deliveries, multi-level apartment/condo buildings, and
various other obstacles. The customer will be responsible for
coordinating and paying for additional services required to deliver
their order.
Hawaii: Shipping
Barker to Hawaii is available! In fact we have supplied thousands of
kitchens all over the Hawaiian Islands. Barker will ship projects
directly to the dock on most of the Hawaiian islands. The pallet/pallets
will be delivered to the dock and placed in WILL CALL. The customer is
responsible for picking up the order from the dock and delivering to the
final destination. Shipping rates for Hawaii are listed below:
Freight
shipping charge to Hawaiian Islands= $499.00 (flat rate for freight,
for samples select FedEx 2day from the list of shipping options at
checkout) WARNING TO HAWAII CUSTOMERS. Replacement parts, damaged
parts, missing hardware, including parts that have to be remade due to
errors made by Barker will be shipped to the original shipping address
in the continental USA or the dock in HAWAII (the original dock where
you picked up your freight order). Shipping of the replacement parts
from the dock to your project address in HAWAII is the sole financial
responsibility of the customer, even if Barker is at fault. Please
consider this before placing your order, as remakes do happen from time
to time with custom products.
Alaska: Shipping Barker
to Alaska is available! We ship directly to the dock in Anchorage and
will place the order in WILL CALL. When the shipment arrives in Alaska,
the freight company will call the customer to let them know the order is
ready to be picked up. The customer is responsible for coordinating the
delivery from the dock to the project address.
Freight shipping
charge to Anchorage, Alaska= $599.00 (flat rate for freight, for samples
select FedEx 2day from the list of shipping options at checkout)
WARNING
TO ALASKA CUSTOMERS. Replacement parts, damaged parts, missing

Barker will be shipped to the original shipping address in the USA
(freight forwarder) or the dock in Alaska (the original dock where you
picked up your freight order). Shipping of the replacement parts from
dock to your project address in Alaska is the sole financial

Canada: Shipping directly
into Canada is not available. Another option is to ship the order to a
freight forwarding company on the border. Since the Freight Forwarder is
most likely in the USA, this would qualify for free shipping (on larger
orders). Next, the customer can coordinate with the freight forwarder
to have the shipment moved through customs and delivered to the final
destination inside Canada. WARNING TO CANADIAN CUSTOMERS. Replacement
parts, damaged parts, missing hardware, including parts that have to be
remade due to errors made by Barker will be shipped to the original
shipping address in the USA (typically to the freight forwarding company
on the USA side of the border). Shipping of the replacement parts from
the border to your project address in Canada is the sole financial
responsibility of the customer, even if Barker is at fault. Please

to time with custom products.
